Enhance your nursing career as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. Provide quality patient care throughout the peri-operative phase while assisting in team leadership.
As a key member of the surgical team, you will offer direct care to patients under the supervision of the Operating Room Head Nurse. Your role will include assessing patients’ needs, implementing care plans, documenting interventions, and providing explicit guidance to staff during procedures. Expect to fulfill scheduled on-call responsibilities as part of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care during surgeries
• Evaluate and plan for patient care needs
• Implement and log nursing interventions




• Direct the activities of nursing and non-nursing staff
• Manage on-call responsibilities efficiently
Requirements:
• RN registration with BC College of Nurses
• Current CPR and IV Therapy certifications
• One year of experience in the OR/P.A.R. setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and related monitoring equipment
