This position is ideal for those with over 6 years of proven engineering experience in high voltage substations. You will engage in various engineering studies, develop layouts, and create detailed designs. Additionally, you will assist in procurement and construction support, bringing your civil, structural, and protection control knowledge to the forefront while mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform engineering studies such as grounding and insulation coordination • Create switchyard layouts and AC/DC distribution designs • Assist in preparing project proposals and specifications • Provide support during procurement and commissioning • Conduct site visits to validate installations
Requirements: • Minimum 6 years’ design experience in high voltage substations • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required • Professional Engineer registration (P.Eng) required • Experience with engineering software is an asset • Effective communication skills for team interaction
