Why This Role Matters The
Accounting Technician, Trust
plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day trust accounting operations that help us deliver accurate, timely, and reliable service to our clients and internal teams. This role helps ensure trust transactions are processed efficiently, inquiries are handled with care, and key accounting functions are completed with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
This is a
hybrid
role based out of our
Calgary
office, with flexibility to work on site and from home a few days each week.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Support the Finance team with day-to-day GroupSource Trust Accounting functions.
Coordinate with internal departments to address client inquiries.
Process accounts receivable transactions, including PADs, cheques, and direct deposits.
Process accounts payable transactions,
including trust account refunds and claims payments.
Assist with collections activities.
Complete bank reconciliations.
Prepare trust account trial balance reconciliations.
Provide support with other trust accounting-related duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table
Accounting certificate or diploma.
2+ years of experience in an accounting role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail with strong accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Compensation At the time of this posting, the estimated annual base salary for this position is $55,000-60,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training. This range reflects the annual base salary only and does not encompass the comprehensive total rewards package that we proudly offer.
