Quality Control Inspector – Day ShiftWe are currently hiring a Quality Control Inspector to join our day shift team. This role involves inspecting and verifying welding, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with CSA, AWS, and company quality standards. You'll work in a specialized weld shop handling high-grade materials and play a key role in delivering quality products for major industrial projects.Pay: Based on experienceSchedule: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PMHours: Work 40 hours per weekWhat You'll Be DoingInspect and verify welding complies with CSA and AWS specificationsReview materials, weld quality, and testing to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and company quality proceduresPerform in-process and final inspections as outlined in the Quality Assurance ManualMaintain proper records of all inspections and keep contract files currentServe as the quality lead on assigned projects, including inspections, audits, document management, and coordination with customer QA staffTrack and report key performance indicators related to qualityEnsure quality control documentation is complete and submitted on time to meet project deadlinesReport quality or production issues to the Plant Manager and QA ManagerCommunicate professionally with customer QA InspectorsIdentify and report hazards, OHSA contraventions, or non-compliance with company policiesTravel to suppliers or contractors if requiredPerform other duties as assigned to support company operationsWhy Work With UsAt Cambridge Pro Fab Inc., we believe our people are the foundation of our success.
