About the Project

Our client is seeking a Senior Technology Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise architecture solutions within a large, distributed cross-platform environment. You will support key government initiatives within the Government Services Integration Cluster, delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with Ontario Government enterprise architecture standards.

About the Responsibilities

In this role, you will develop and manage technical architectures across complex enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise standards. You will work closely with stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

- Develop, recommend, implement, and manage enterprise technical architectures
- Lead architecture design across hardware, software, databases, and communications
- Develop enterprise architecture deliverables aligned with Ontario Government standards
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Provide leadership in large, cross-platform environments
- Guide teams using structured methodologies and ITIL practices
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic direction
- Support performance optimization and risk mitigation strategies

Requirements

Must-have:





- Leadership experience in developing and implementing technical architectures
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms, operating systems, databases, and communications protocols
- Experience developing enterprise architecture deliverables aligned with Ontario Government standards
- Strong knowledge of performance considerations in multi-platform environments
- Experience with structured methodologies for system design and implementation
- Experience with ITIL processes and best practices
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice-to-have:

- Knowledge of AWS, Amazon Cloud, and Amazon Connect
- Understanding of cloud computing principles, policies, and practices
- Experience with emerging technologies and enterprise architecture trends

About the Role

Location: Onsite – 222 Jarvis Street, Toronto, ON (5 days/week)

Duration: June 8, 2026 – March 31, 2027

Work hours: 40 hrs/week

Pay Disclosure

The average hourly pay range for this field is as follows:

- Senior: 10+ years of experience — $120–$124.95/hr

Compensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, and market conditions.
