Serve as an Outreach Case Manager dedicated to supporting youth impacted by family violence. Empower children by fostering resilience and safety through cooperative community involvement.
You will engage directly with youth, facilitating their emotional development and well-being. This role involves assisting with safety plans and providing essential support during transitions from crisis shelter back to the community. You will work alongside schools and other agencies to build a network of care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver ethical, trauma-sensitive services to youth
• Develop individual safety plans for shelter residents
• Facilitate informative workshops for mothers
• Liaise with educational and medical staff for client needs
• Maintain partnerships with community organizations
Requirements:
• Degree in Child and Youth Care or related
• Minimum of three years’ relevant outreach experience
• Alberta Brain Story Certification required
• Current certifications in CPR/First Aid, ASIST
• Valid Class 5 driver’s License
