A Chef Manager (lead cook) role goes far beyond preparing food. It requires skill, dedication, leadership, and a commitment to creating exceptional experiences. We’re seeking a lead cook manager who can elevate both food quality and customer service while fostering a solid, engaged team. Reporting to the General Manager, this role takes a hands‑on approach to team development, culinary excellence, operational standards, and client relationships. The Chef Manager (lead cook) also plays a key role in meeting financial targets through innovative offerings and consistent service delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver high standards in food quality and customer service.
- Develop and execute innovative menus tailored to the location’s needs.
- Implement company initiatives related to service, food quality, and safety.
- Build and grow catering or additional revenue generating opportunities.
- Oversee production, merchandising, quality control, cost management, scheduling, staffing, and training.
- Train and develop team members to provide outstanding customer experiences.
- Identify and nurture talent within the team.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, food safety, and operational standards.
- Monitor financial performance to meet organizational and client objectives.
- Complete accurate and timely financial reporting across all business areas.
- Maintain required records to meet internal and regulatory standards.
- Support compliance with marketing, HR, and operational programs.
- Uphold all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications
- Red Seal certification or equivalent culinary training.
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, or early mornings.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑management skills.
- Proficiency with computers and operating systems.
- Self‑directed with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $30.00.
