This role focuses on full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll functions for meaningful community partnerships. As a vital trusted advisor, you’ll maintain accounting records, prepare reports, and assist with client budgets. Collaboration will be key as you build relationships with team members and clients across various Indigenous groups and organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with full cycle bookkeeping and payroll tasks • Prepare payroll and government remittances/filings • Set up client files and aid budget completion • Reconcile GL accounts and bank transactions • Communicate with governments regarding assessments
Requirements: • Two years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience • Certificate or diploma in business administration or accounting • Experience with Indigenous clients is an asset • Proficient in accounting software, both desktop and cloud-based • Solid problem-solving and communication skills
