Role Summary:
Are you creative, curious, and excited to learn how marketing, design, and AI tools come together? We’re looking for a Digital Marketing & Design Co-op student to support our marketing team. In this role, you’ll gain hands‑on experience creating content, working with design tools, and helping bring campaigns to life across SIMNET and its sister companies.
This is a great opportunity to build your portfolio, learn modern marketing tools, and get exposure to real projects across tech, entertainment, and events.
Pay: $18/hour

Location Type: Onsite
In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Content & Marketing Support
- Assist with creating and updating content for:
- Social media
- Websites (WordPress)
- Help post and schedule content across platforms
- Support basic website updates and content changes
- Assist with simple SEO updates (e.g., adding keywords, updating pages)
2. Graphic Design Support
- Create visual content such as:
- Social media graphics
- Event posters and flyers
- Presentation slides
- Email visuals
- Help edit and resize designs for different platforms
- Support basic video or reel creation (if interested)
- Follow brand guidelines to keep designs consistent
- Use tools like Canva, Adobe, and AI design tools to create content
- Assist with simple tasks in marketing platforms (email tools, social schedulers)
- Help organize and maintain content calendars
- Learn how automation tools work
4. Team Support
- Work with team members to support:
- Marketing campaigns
- Internal communications
- Take direction from the marketing team and help execute tasks
- Ask questions, share ideas, and contribute to creative discussions
Other tasks and duties as required.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in (or recently completed) a program in: Marketing, Design, Communications, or similar
- Basic experience with Canva or Adobe tools and social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Interest in design, content creation, and marketing
- Comfortable learning new tools, including AI tools
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Experience that may accelerate impact (nice-to-haves)
- Experience creating social media content
- Basic understanding of trends or content ideas
- Any personal or school portfolio work
