Senior Manager, Services, Quality and Safety

NONA Child Development Centre in Vernon, B.C. is seeking a relational, collaborative, and systems-focused Senior Manager, Services, Quality and Safety to provide senior operational leadership across our Early Intervention and Development Services portfolio.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Director, this role provides integrated leadership across Early Intervention Therapies, Family Services, and Supported Child Development, with oversight of day-to-day operations, quality, safety, and program alignment.

You will work closely with supervisors to support teams, guide operational decision-making, and ensure services are coordinated, sustainable, and responsive to children and families. The role also leads and strengthens organizational quality, safety, and accreditation practices, including supporting consistent processes, incident review and follow-up, and a proactive approach to workplace health and safety.

This role supports three direct-report supervisors and approximately sixteen indirect staff, contributing to a clear and sustainable leadership structure across programs.

- Master’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience leading programs and teams in child development, health, or social services
- Strong operational leadership skills, including staffing, service delivery, and program coordination
- Experience with quality improvement, safety practices, accreditation, or system-level initiatives
- The ability to think systemically while staying grounded in day-to-day realities
- Comfort navigating complexity and supporting alignment across programs

- Classification: Excluded Management Position – Range 10
- Salary Range: $94,000 – $118,000
