The Opportunity We’re looking for a Senior New Accounts Administrator to join our Operations Team.
Reporting to the Supervisor, New Accounts, the Senior New Accounts Administrator is responsible for opening/maintaining accounts across various platforms in accordance with regulatory requirements established by IIROC, PCMLTFA, FATCA, CRS and Qualified Intermediary regulations.

What your day looks like
Review recent account application documentation
Verify the identity of clients and prescribed individuals associated with accounts, primarily to combat money laundering and terrorist financing activities
Open/close/maintain client accounts across various platforms
Process systematic plans and bank information setups
Investigate account related issues and take appropriate actions to correct
Facilitate regular quality assurances tests. Enhance quality assurance measures
Communicate and coordinate with other departments regarding account related requests
Generate departmental reports for management
Provide training and on‑going support to others in the department
Remain current on PCMLTFA, FATCA, CRS and Qualified Intermediary regulations
Your experience and skills
Post‑secondary education
Minimum of 3 years financial industry experience
Experience with Dataphile is an asset
Ability to work independently and in a team environment in a fast paced environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Pro‑active problem solving abilities with strong analytical skills
Outstanding customer service focus
Extremely detail oriented and accurate with a focus on quality assurance
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary This position is posted with an expected salary range of $46,000 - $55,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
