Job Description: Develop next generation vehicles controls solutions. Work in a New Corporate engineering office along with a large team focused on developing new vehicles program.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Design, Program and test CAN Communication applications for industrial controls systems
- Utilize CodeSys for Controls Programming
- Utilize Python for Embedded systems design
- Design electrical, mechanical and hydraulic schematics for construction vehicles
- Design the HMI graphics in Adobe Illustrator
- Troubleshoot electrical issues during research and development
- Hands-on installation of data acquisition systems on vehicles
- Provide technical support and services in the electrical engineering field
- Ensure operational design of product control systems

Mandatory Requirements:

- 5 years of Experience in development of products controls system within CAN Protocols
- Experience Programming low variability PLC languages
- Direct experience with Vehicle sensor design to ISO-13849 standards
- Direct Experience with engine control systems design

Preferred Requirements:

- AutoCAD, Inventor or Solidworks for modifying drawings
- EIT - pursing Skilled Engineering- P.Eng Designation




- Experience with regulated documentation
- Excellent communication skills

Location: Waterloo, Ontario

Shift: Day Shift - In Office 5 days a week

Salary Range: $85,000 – $115,000
