Job Title: Content Designer

Employment Type: Contract (Freelance)

Pay: $50-$60/ hourly

About the Role

We are seeking a contract Content Designer to our client in the financial space. This role sits between junior and intermediate levels and is focused on content creation and CMS support. You will work with designers, developers, and stakeholders in an agile environment to deliver digital experiences; assist in editing, organizing, and structuring content; support CMS work, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and build pages within a CMS platform (ideally Contentful or similar).
- Edit, organize, and structure website content for public-facing sites.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver engaging digital experiences.
- Support ongoing CMS-related tasks and projects.
- Apply basic design principles to ensure quality user experience.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in content writing or UX writing (public website experience preferred).




- Strong familiarity with CMS platforms; experience with Contentful is a solid asset.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and motivation to grow within the team.
- A portfolio that demonstrates your process, research approach, decision-making, challenges faced, and collaboration experience is highly valued.
- Understanding of basic design principles; product design experience is an asset
- Experience working in a banking setting
