In this impactful role within the Hydro and Dams group, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing structural components for hydroelectric projects. Your contributions will focus on ensuring compliance with safety standards and performing assessments of existing infrastructure, helping to shape long-term solutions. Team-oriented efforts with multidisciplinary teams will be essential to project success and innovation in engineering delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct structural designs for dam and hydropower projects • Perform assessments and rehabilitation studies for existing dams • Coordinate safety reviews and regulatory evaluations • Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines • Document calculations and create engineering design packages
Requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering • Over 10 years’ structural engineering experience • Expertise in concrete and steel structure design • Background in hydropower is preferred • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation required
