Established in 2020, Vitacore is driven by our mission to develop transformative products and services that address critical global issues, ensuring ethical practices and effective outcomes for the betterment of humankind and the planet. Our journey began with a focus on the healthcare sector, where we became leaders in manufacturing recycling single-use protective equipment. Today, we apply our expertise and innovative spirit to broader challenges, developing advanced technologies, sustainable practices, and innovative manufacturing processes that redefine what is possible across various industries. About the Role
We are seeking a talented 3D Computational Designer to join our team developing next-generation biomedical products, including custom CPAP masks and facial equipment optimized for individual comfort, fit, and performance. This role will involve leveraging Python-based 3D modeling tools such as Open3D, trimesh, and Blender’s Python API (bpy) to create parametric, procedural models that integrate facial scan data and are optimized for additive manufacturing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine computational design, product development, and biomedical innovation in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Responsibilities
Develop procedural 3D models using Python libraries (Open3D, trimesh, bpy) for facial equipment and CPAP mask designs. Process and integrate facial scan data (e.g., point clouds or meshes) into design workflows for ergonomic fit and precision. Build custom automation tools and Blender add-ons to optimize and streamline modeling pipelines. Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to ensure manufacturability and alignment with 3D printing constraints.
Prototype and iterate on models, validating designs through performance testing and feedback loops. Document design scripts, workflows, and specifications to ensure scalability and reproducibility. Stay current on advancements in computational design, biomedical modeling, and 3D printing technologies. Skills and Qualifications
