The Associate, Case is responsible for assisting the Director, Case in the execution of the competition and case component of NSCC. The Associate, Case will, in particular, be working closely with their counterpart in the creation and language elements of the NSCC case(s) as well as developing the configuration of the grading rubric for the competition.

Main Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with external parties to secure two live clients for the case competition (1 preliminary case, 1 final round case).
- Work with the Director, Case to develop all aspects of the case portion of NSCC including the case itself, development of a scoring rubric, and reviewing competition rules and regulations.
- Help develop and consolidate briefs/feedback for competitors during both the preliminary and final rounds of the NSCC Case Competition.
- Help organize NSCC’s pre‑competition events (Consulting 101, Ace the Case, etc).
Qualifications
- Strong analytical thinking skills and research abilities.
- Possess a willingness to learn, and seek guidance when needed.
- Previous case writing or case competition experience is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and collaboratively in a team setting.
Anticipated Learning Outcomes
- Develop a strong skill set in research, analysis, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Learn how to work with companies in a qualified setting.
- Gain extensive knowledge in the execution of a case competition.
- Refine understanding of consulting/analytical frameworks.
