You will collaborate with various stakeholders, ensuring that contractual agreements meet university policies and external requirements. Your role will also involve assessing resource commitments and developing strategies to mitigate risks in clinical trials and health-related studies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on contracts related to clinical research • Negotiate and review research agreements • Assess risks in proposed research contracts • Ensure compliance with ethical standards • Support budget management for research contracts
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree and Bachelor of Laws required • Minimum five years in negotiation and contract law • Good standing with Barrister’s Society of Nova Scotia • Experience in policy development and review • Strong communication skills and adaptability
