Clinical responsibilities include assessment, treatment, goal setting, educational guidance, and active participation in quality improvement initiatives. You will work alongside patients and families, ensuring a collaborative approach that prioritizes effective communication and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide therapeutic interventions for optimum patient function
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams for quality care
• Conduct assessments and develop personalized rehabilitation plans
• Supervise therapy staff and mentor students
• Engage in quality improvement projects and initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Physiotherapy from an accredited program
• Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
• Recent acute care therapy experience within last year
• Current BLS for Health Care Providers Level C CPR
• Ability to manage physical demands of the role
