About the Opportunity:

The purpose of the Senior Accountant – North America is to perform timely and effective accounting and reporting activities by working closely with both internal and external customers.

In this role, the key responsibilities include:

- Daily and monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement GL accounts to contract management system, to a high standard of accuracy and compliance
- Month end accruals and provisions
- Assist with month end close including revenue recognition and sales tax adjustments
- Prepare financial analysis and reports
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Expense management system – manage expense coding and journal entry
- Sales tax – return filing and payments – no longer, now with Staff accountants
- Other tasks as required

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

- CPA designation or completion of CFE working towards CPA designation
- 5+ years accounting experience




- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to work in a high paced workplace with tight deadlines
- Ability to collaborate with all members of the Finance Team and other departments
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, with an emphasis in Excel
- Flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment

Salary:

$70,000 - $90,000 per annum.
