This role will report directly to the Assistant General Counsel HPS Direct and Channel Sales and Procurement. Responsibilities include objective setting, policy formation, interpretation and management while providing latitude and discretion to subordinates. The position is accountable for projects or programs on a multi-national or global basis, split equally between procurement legal support and HPS commercial legal matters. Work requires investigating and resolving a wide variety of highly unusual conditions that carry long-term implications. Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on administrative and operational matters in area of responsibility to ensure achievement of objectives. Works independently, with little direction or guidance from supervisor. Regularly interacts with executives, customers and/or suppliers.



Interactions often involve controversial situations, customer and supplier negotiations, or influencing and persuading other senior level managers.Detailed DescriptionProvides legal direction and guidance on both direct and indirect procurement matters, including the negotiation, drafting and management of supplier contracts, vendor agreements, sourcing arrangements and related commercial documentation.Responsible for integrating Celestica's procurement legal best practices across Celestica (subsidiaries and affiliates) worldwide.Provides contractual direction, support and coordination to and between Celestica's global Procurement teams and the various other departments (e.G.
