Support classification efforts as a Labour Relations Officer. Engage in grievance handling, analyze job descriptions, and negotiate with employers while serving as a resource for staff and members.

This full time position focuses on supporting the implementation of classification provisions. You'll work directly with stewards to manage classification grievances and coordinate internal classifications matters. A strong background in union dynamics and effective negotiation skills are critical for success.

Key Responsibilities: • Serve as resource on classification issues • Administer collective agreement classifications • Process and manage classification grievances • Negotiate classifications with employer agents • Organize classification project work

Requirements: • Minimum 2 years as a Labour Relations Officer • Post-secondary education in relevant field • Knowledge of collective agreements essential • Understand classification systems for members • Valid BC Driver’s License required for travel
