Exciting internship for engineering students specializing in electrical systems. Work within a collaborative team on overhead and underground design projects for a variety of systems.
We are looking for motivated Electrical Engineering COOP students in their third or fourth year. This 8-16 month internship includes working on telecommunications, transmission, and distribution projects while gaining hands-on experience. Ideal candidates will contribute to project development and design while acquiring knowledge in power systems and engineering software tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with engineers and designers on projects
• Assist with routing layout for high and low voltage
• Participate in client design review meetings
• Conduct site inspections and write reports
• Prepare equipment specifications and drawing packages
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Familiarity with CAD software is preferable
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Successful completion of a background check
