Support critical water treatment and steam generation processes in this full time role. Optimize operations and manage compliance while providing technical support and engineering expertise.This position involves identifying and addressing bottlenecks in water treatment, steam production, and related utilities. As a site operations engineer, you will also scope and develop engineering projects to enhance capacity and reduce operational expenses. The role requires collaboration with Operations and Maintenance teams, aiming to maximize efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:
- Identify optimization opportunities for water treatment and steam generation
- Provide technical support for operational issues and troubleshooting
- Develop and oversee plant process trial requests
- Initiate engineering projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Prepare Construction Work Packages for chemical changesRequirements:
- Licensed Professional Engineer with APEGA registration
- Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience in SAGD Process Engineering is preferred
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
