Procurement Specialist (IT) – Senior

12 months contract with possible extension

Edmonton, AB (Remote)

Experience Required- 10+ Years

Skills-

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Humanities, Science, Procurement, or related field
- Experience leading RFPs, NRFPs, RFIs, RFQs, RFXs, evaluations, debriefings, and contract negotiations
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and managing vendor contracts in a complex workplace
- Providing procurement advice to internal clients, senior leadership, and cross‑functional teams
- Experience procuring goods/services under Canadian public sector entities (e.g., trade agreements, procurement legislation, contract law, Government policies)




- Experience applying NWPTA, CETA, CFTA, and/or CUSMA to procurement activities
- Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMA), Certified Public Procurement Officer, or other recognized procurement certification
- Experience procuring for modernization projects, digital programs, or cloud‑based solutions
- Ability to evaluate cost models, contract risks, and pricing structures
- Experience procuring software, hardware, cloud services, cybersecurity tools, integrations, or digital platforms
