Our client is a large utilities provider operating across Canada. They are seeking a new Finance Systems Manager to join their accounting group, leading finance systems optimisation, configuration and implementation across a suite of platforms. This is a managerial position overseeing a small team and collaborating closely with the corporate accounting group.

Responsibilities

- Lead the administration, maintenance, and optimization of core financial systems (e.g., ERP, GL, FP&A;).
- Drive system implementation projects, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and accuracy across all financial systems.
- Collaborate with finance and IT stakeholders to define system requirements and deliver solutions.
- Develop and manage the financial systems roadmap aligned with business strategy.
- Provide advanced user support, training,



and troubleshooting for financial applications.
- Ensure financial systems comply with internal controls and Canadian regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- CPA designation is beneficial but not essential
- Prior SAP FI/CO configuration experience is required
- Robust leadership experience managing and developing team members
