We are seeking a Toolroom Supervisor to oversee daily toolroom operations in an automotive manufacturing workplace within the GTA region.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily toolroom activities, including tool build, repair, modification, and preventive maintenance
- Lead and support toolmakers to meet production schedules and quality standards
- Coordinate tooling requirements with production, engineering, and maintenance teams
- Ensure proper setup, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures
- Maintain tooling documentation, inventory, and spare parts control
- Enforce health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the toolroom
- Support cost reduction, uptime improvement, and process optimization initiatives
Education & Experience
- Post‑secondary degree or diploma in a related technical or mechanical discipline
- Minimum 3+ years of tooling experience in a manufacturing environment (Automotive preferred)
