Who You Are

- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- 0‑2 years of hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical experience preferred.
- Boom crane experience a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract required.
- E‑Railsafe required upon hire, plus other customer‑based training as may be required to access work sites.

What Do You Need

- Experience using basic hand and power tools.
- Hydraulic and transfer pump experience a plus.
- Strong communication (verbal and computer) and time‑management skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.) a plus.
- A high degree of reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are critical attributes for this position.
- Sound writing skills for work‑report submissions.
- Ability and willingness to follow all applicable safety and operating rules for client railways in a professional and conscientious manner.
- Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE): hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection as required.
- May be required to act as watchman/lookout and devote full attention to detecting the approach of trains and communicating a warning to other personnel.
- Job duties may require standing, sitting, walking, using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, climbing, balancing, stooping,



kneeling, or crouching for prolonged periods.
- Will be required to operate impact equipment, power tools, hand tools under heavy loads, and manual earth‑moving tools for trenching ditches to bury hoses and electrical cables.
- Overtime hours may be necessary as workloads dictate, and may include weekdays, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

- Travel weekly to deliver company products, fill customer silos, provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting/repair and customer training support for all LB Foster friction management lubricators; extensive travel to work sites throughout North America is required.
- Liaise with external customers and internal company departments for product development and relationship‑building initiatives.
- Work outdoors on railway tracks under a variety of weather conditions.
- Manage personal travel expense account, company‑supplied mechanical tools, company‑issued credit cards where applicable.
- Handle basic issues and problems, refer more complex issues to higher‑level staff.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
