About the role

Reporting to the Supply Chain and Quality Assurance Director, the Account Representative is at the heart of customer excellence. This role is responsible for efficiently and courteously responding to customer and internal team/sales team inquiries and requests, ensuring precision in communication. The Account Representative maintains strong relationships and ensures client satisfaction, embodying the core values of exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

- Efficiently and courteously respond to customer inquiries and requests, ensuring precision in communication.
- Oversee the management of regular clients within the designated region or specialty, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Address and fulfill specific customer requirements related to product lines, tailored services, and the added value of Leviton business solutions.
- Process and manage Return Goods Authorizations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Educate, onboard, and support clients in utilizing various digital platforms, including B2B, EDI, and the company website.
- Contributes and actively participates in promoting marketing promotions for targeted segments or customers.




- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology to update customer profiles, maintain detailed customer notes, and manage sales opportunities effectively.
- If necessary, send customers their daily transaction reports and out-of-stock orders.
- Identify, propose, and implement solutions to customer issues, or elevate requests to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Communicate any changes that may impact customer accounts or orders, ensuring transparency and customer awareness.
- Collaborate with forecasting and shipping departments to verify product availability and ensure timely delivery.
- Work closely with team members and other business departments to provide comprehensive sales service.
- Assist the external sales force by providing relevant customer information and support in all areas directly related to customer interactions.
- Notify the sales force of special‑order specifications to ensure complete and accurate customer files.
- Ensures the order entry process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Adhere to established performance indicators to enhance customer experience.
- Ensure that all relevant transactions and communications are documented in accordance with ISO standards.
- Conduct specific analyses or undertake special projects as required by the Manager.

Qualifications

- Demonstrates a commitment to providing exceptional service,



maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to work and collaborate effectively in a team.
- Demonstrates robust organizational skills and efficiently manages time and priorities.
- Proactively addresses and resolves customer inquiries and issues, finding effective solutions to meet client needs.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Knowledge ERP (i.e. Oracle) software would be an asset.
- Proficient in both spoken and written French and English. We seek an individual fluent in English to effectively communicate with contacts throughout Canada and colleagues in the United States.

Education and Experience

- Completed College Diploma
- Electrical knowledge would be an asset
- 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position
