DES are designing, developing, producing, marketing, and supporting total Diagnostic, Prognostic & Health Management (DPHM) solutions for the P&WC; in-service fleet and future engines across all market segments.

DES is looking for an onsite associate director of business development and strategy,



whose main function will be to develop and oversee the strategies to increase the connection to P&WC;’s 70K engine in-service fleet across all segments by understanding our products, services, markets, channels and data ecosystem. This will include developing and maintaining harmonious relationships with customers, partners and collaborators. This role will be responsible for preparing/presenting all strategic DES communications in various forums. The candidate will report directly to the head of the DES department as an individual contributor, wherein leading by influence will be a key asset.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Oversee the DES strategic plan and the progress of its activities
- Develop and maintain harmonious relationships with senior members of the external DES customer and collaborator base (Aircraft OEMs, 3rd parties, etc.)
- Ensure DES strategies / strategic initiatives are aligned and synchronized with aftermarket program departments and other aftermarket services strategies
- Prepare and present all DES strategic communications in collaboration with the head of the DES department
- Oversee all external marketing material for DES
- Technology watch on developments and news in the engine and aircraft connectivity ecosystem
- Collaborate closely with our P&WC; global sales teams and other aftermarket services teams

Qualifications

- Bachelor or master’s in a relevant field
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience required in the field of aviation
- Understanding of the aerospace industry and aircraft engine data acquisition, processing and analytics and how it is utilized to optimize reliability, availability and operating costs




- Experience/ease in presenting technical topics at a high level to wide range of audiences internally and externally
- Excellent business development, relationship management, market analysis, executive communication, customer service and information technology skills
- Proven cross functional collaboration and track record of delivering tangible results

Language Requirements

Ce poste est part of a French-speaking work environment, necessitating a very valuable knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
