Printing Press Operator – Lorpon Labels Inc

We are seeking a printing press operator with strong values to join our team. A great label helps communicate why a product is the best choice for customers.

Responsibilities

- Ensure product is made according to specifications in order to produce the entire job correctly
- Identify errors/ problems and take action to correct
- Verify inks, stocks, plates and dies as per job
- Install correct aniloxes, dies, plates and material
- Set impression and registers print to print and print to die
- Set up fanfolder, turret or sheeter if required
- Fill and maintain ink pan levels throughout run
- Completes all start up checks (proof, die strike, sign offs, barcode scannability)
- Maximize press speeds and efficiencies
- Correctly label and package, in a neat manner, product that is finished on press
- Input correct information into LabelTraxx and complete necessary paperwork




- General maintenance and housekeeping of press and surrounding area
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

- Experience using a Mark Andy press is an asset
- Experience using Flexographic presses is an asset

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: We offer a fixed wage of $34.20 per hour depending on qualifications.

Bonus: Potential bonus of 15% of annual salary at employer's discretion.

Job Type

Full time permanent, Minimum of 32 hours per week.

Language

At least intermediate level of English proficiency is required.
