This role is essential in promoting a secure work atmosphere through rigorous monitoring and training programs. You will implement health and safety policies, oversee compliance with regulations, and conduct site inspections. Collaborating closely with teams and management, you will work towards minimizing risks and enhancing safety culture across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee site-specific safety programs
• Train employees on health and safety standards
• Conduct inspections and document safety statistics
• Lead investigations for any workplace incidents
• Maintain records and prepare safety reports regularly
Requirements:
• Degree in Management or Occupational Health & Safety is recommended
• CSAO certification is essential; CRSP preferred
• Minimum 5 years in health and safety roles
• Familiarity with OHSA, WSIB, and safety regulations
• Current CPR and First Aid training certification
