We have an exciting prospect for a dynamic and experienced leader to join the Town of High Level as Director of Operations. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the Director of Operations provides strategic leadership and oversight into the Town’s operational services and municipal infrastructure systems.
The Director is responsible for the effective planning, coordination, and delivery of services related to public works operations, municipal facilities maintenance, and water treatment and related utilities operations, providing leadership through the Public Works Foreman, Facilities Maintenance and Water Treatment staff.
This role ensures infrastructure and operational services are delivered safely, efficiently, and aligned with the Town’s strategic priorities and long-term infrastructure planning objectives. Someone solid in project management, cost controls, managing RFP’s and capital projects, and workforce planning would excel in this role. This is a strategic yet hands‑on opportunity and a great role for someone looking to build the operations.
As a member of the Town’s senior leadership team, the Director collaborates with other departments to ensure effective service delivery, responsible financial management, and sustainable infrastructure investment that supports the community’s long‑term growth.
