About the Role
We’re looking for a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager to own and scale our experimentation and on-site performance strategy. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this role will focus on turning traffic into revenue, optimizing every step of the customer journey from landing page to checkout. You’ll work at the intersection of data, UX, and growth, identifying friction points, running experiments, and driving measurable improvements in conversion rate, AOV, and revenue per session.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Experimentation & Testing:
- Own the end-to-end A/B testing roadmap across key user journeys (homepage, collection pages, PDPs, cart, checkout)
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to improve conversion rate, add-to-cart rate, and checkout completion
- Build a culture of continuous experimentation across the business
Funnel Analysis & Insights:
- Analyze customer behavior across the funnel, identifying drop-offs, friction points, and opportunities for optimization
- Investigate anomalies (e.g., declining add-to-cart rates, engagement drops)
UX & On-Site Optimization:
- Partner with design and development to improve site usability, navigation,
and product discovery, optimizing key components like navigation & collections, product detail pages (PDPs), search & filtering, new feature implementations, cart & checkout flow
Personalization & Merchandising:
- Develop strategies for personalized experiences (recommendations, agile content, upsells)
- Work with product team to optimize product merchandising and bundling strategies to increase AOV
- Support vendor-funded placements with performance insights
Data & Performance Tracking:
- Own key CRO metrics: conversion rate, add-to-cart rate, AOV, revenue per session
- Work with GA4, heatmaps (Hotjar), and other tools to generate insights
- Improve tracking and measurement accuracy across the funnel
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5+ years in CRO, growth, or eCommerce optimization roles
- Proven experience running A/B tests and experimentation programs
- Experience with tools like Google Analytics (GA4), A/B testing tools, Heatmaps, etc.
- Deep understanding of eCommerce UX and customer behavior
- Comfortable working closely with dev teams on implementation
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Magento
- Experience in CPG, grocery, or wellness
What Success Looks Like in This Role:
- Show a measurable lift in key metrics such as conversion rate, add-to-cart rate, checkout completion rate, AOV
- Clear experimentation roadmap with consistent test velocity
- Improved visibility into funnel performance and bottlenecks
- Strong collaboration across marketing, product, and development teams
