This is a hands-on technical role embedded within an Agile Scrum team, contributing directly to a major cloud migration, MuleSoft-to-Spring Boot integration modernization, and Markit EDM platform upgrade program.

What you'll be doing:

- Hands-on development and technical contribution within MDM/TMS Scrum teams
- Supporting Azure cloud migration of enterprise applications and integrations
- Modernizing MuleSoft integration flows to Spring Boot microservices
- Providing senior-level support for Markit EDM (COTS) upgrades, including vendor coordination and release activities
- Contributing to CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps practices
- Supporting production environments through troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis

What we're looking for:

- 7+ years of enterprise software development experience in senior/advanced technical roles
- 5+ years supporting Markit EDM (COTS), including upgrades and complex integration scenarios




- 5+ years supporting Azure cloud migrations for enterprise applications
- Hands-on Java and Spring Boot experience, including microservices
- Experience migrating or modernizing enterprise integration platforms (MuleSoft a solid asset)
- IBM MQ, Red Hat AMQ, or similar enterprise messaging experience
- Strong SQL and database skills
- Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices experience
- Agile/Scrum delivery environment experience

Assets: Knowledge of financial markets, securities, or reference data; .NET/IIS experience; enterprise job scheduling tools.

Engagement Details:

- 18-month contract, full-time (37.5 hrs/week)
- Hybrid: approximately 12 days/month on-site in Ottawa
- Reliability Status clearance required (Canadian residents)
