Join us and be part of the team working to make a difference. Key Responsibilities Manage end to end accounts payable cycle from invoice receipt to payment for multiple vendors. Manage company credit card processes and reconciliations. Review, verify, and process employee expense reports in accordance with the company policies. Collaborate with all internal departments to streamline payment processes. Reconcile accounts payable subledger to the general ledger and assist with monthly close processes including accruals and reporting. Ensure timely response to all AP inquiries. Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries regarding vendor payments and status. Manage relationships including onboarding, compliance,



and documentation. Conduct expense analysis when required. Prepare and analyze AP related reports, KPIs & dashboards for management review. Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor junior staff. Provide training and guidance as needed. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the AP function. Maintain and update internal controls and procedures ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Prepare retail sales tax returns. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently. Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with various stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting. Proactive and a self‑starter with continuous improvement mindset. Education, Training & Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance field required or equivalent. 5 plus years of progressive experience in accounts payable function. Experience in insurance or financial services industry preferred. Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices and procedures. Advanced MS Excel skills. Working Conditions Working at a computer for much of the day. $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 The salary range offered for this position will be determined by a variety of factors including the candidate’s skills, competencies, qualifications and relevant experience, in accordance with HIROC’s Compensation Policy.
