Maschio Gaspardo SPA, a leading company in Italy and internationally in the design and manufacturing of agricultural equipments, is seeking a General Manager for its Canadian subsidiary based in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec.

The General Manager will report to the Group Chief Commercial Officer and will lead and oversee all Sales, Marketing and Logistics activities related to Canada. Main responsibility is to develop and execute commercial strategies aimed at achieving company’s sales targets with operational excellence.

More detailed responsibilities are:

- Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets for both finished products and spare parts
- Build, develop, and manage a high-performing distribution network
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealers and distributors
- Identify new market opportunities and product segments to maximize market penetration
- Drive business development by identifying market opportunities and implementing effective sales and marketing plans
- Prepare the annual budget and detailed business plan, including performance monitoring, financial analysis,



quarterly reporting, and management reports
- Conduct market intelligence activities, including competitor analysis, product positioning, and customer profiling, to support effective strategies and tactical decisions
- Oversee Human Resources and Finance functions within the subsidiary
- Ensure effective communication, alignment, and reporting with headquarters, guaranteeing compliance with group strategies, processes, and procedures
- Lead, develop, and motivate the local team, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work workplace

The Succesful Applicant:

- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales and marketing within the agricultural equipment industry
- Strong knowledge of the agricultural equipment sector
- Proven strategic thinking and strong leadership capabilities
- Solid managerial skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a small team
- Fluency in both French and English
