This role owns mobile app user acquisition performance across paid channels, with a primary focus on Meta, Google UAC, and growth networks such as AppLovin, Tiktok, Reddit, Snap, Moloco. This is not a stewardship role or a dashboard-monitoring role. This is an operator role. You are expected to ship changes daily, make decisions with incomplete information, push creative and structure aggressively, and drive performance through iteration rather than discussion. If you need heavy process, long approval chains, or perfectly defined tasks, this role will feel uncomfortable by design. Performance and execution
Own daily performance of mobile app acquisition campaigns Launch, iterate, and kill campaigns continuously Actively manage budgets, bids, structures, and creatives daily, not weekly React quickly to changes in CPI, ROAS, retention, and LTV Work closely with the Creative Director and junior creative strategists Translate performance data into specific creative actions Push creative testing velocity and hold a clear point of view on what to test next Identify winning hooks, formats, and narratives and scale them decisively Decision-making and autonomy
Make independent calls without waiting for consensus Prioritize speed over perfection Know when to test, when to scale, and when to cut Reporting and clarity
Clearly articulate what’s working, what’s not, and what happens next Produce concise weekly summaries focused on actions and outcomes No vanity decks, no fluff. Insight only if it leads to action For Director-level candidates, you will also:
Own acquisition strategy across multiple app accounts or titles Define testing frameworks and learning agendas QA and guide junior media buyers Be accountable for aggregate performance, not just individual accounts What you will not do
You will not wait for perfect briefs You will not hide behind dashboards or reports You will not manage performance without touching the account You will not spend your day in meetings How success is measured

This role is suited for someone who has strong hands-on experience in mobile app user acquisition, deep familiarity with Meta Ads for apps, comfort working with app funnels, attribution, and creative fatigue, and experience in fast-moving environments such as apps, gaming, startups, or agencies. Experience at large companies is fine only if you remained hands-on. Traits that matter more than resume
