This full-time or part-time role involves being the Medical Responsible Physician for unattached inpatients. You will perform rounds, facilitate service transfers, and plan discharges while providing crucial consult services to both in-hospital and rural community settings. Your expertise will support timely patient handovers and ensure all ages receive appropriate care across various illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as Medical Responsible Physician for assigned inpatients
• Perform patient rounds and coordinate transfers and repatriations
• Engage in structured team rounds and discharge handovers
• Provide consulting for ambulatory clinics and rural health sites
• Deliver daily on-site MRP services during specified hours
Requirements:
• Experience in hospital medicine and patient care
• Strong diagnostic and treatment skills for diverse patients
• Availability for flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Commitment to culturally and trauma-informed care
• Proven ability to work in a team-oriented team environment
