FUND TAX ANALYST

The Job!

You will review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax distributions and allocations for funds. You will also:

- Support preparation and review of fund tax returns (T3, T5, NR4)
- Review year-end distributions, tax factors, and reporting outputs
- Ensure compliance with Canadian tax regulations and internal policies
- Handle tax documentation (W-8BEN-E, CRS, W-9, tax IDs, PFIC reporting)
- Work with internal teams (legal, operations, client service, etc.) on tax-related matters
- Liaise with regulators and external providers on audits, filings, and inquiries
- Contribute to fund lifecycle events (launches, mergers, terminations)
- Assist with tax reporting tools, processes, and ongoing improvements
- Other related tasks, as required

What you bring to the job

You are someone with robust attention to detail and accuracy. You come with:

- 3+ years’ experience in financial services (mutual funds/ETFs preferred)
- Degree in finance, accounting, or related field




- Accounting designation or CSC is a plus
- Familiarity with fund accounting, IFRS, and financial markets
- Experience with tools like Excel, Bloomberg, Reuters, or similar systems
- Able to manage deadlines and work independently or as part of a team
- Clear communicator with solid organizational skills
- Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Expected Compensation: CAD $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
