Job Description

We are seeking a proactive leader in contamination assessment and remediation based in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate will make decisions, oversee preventive and remedial actions, build strong client relationships, and drive sustainable growth in the region.

Hybrid work model: office three days a week, with flexible remote options.

Responsibilities

- Needs Assessment: identify emerging issues, barriers, and stakeholders.
- Improvement/Innovation: suggest and implement improvements, deliver projects within change management.
- Culture of Innovation: drive multistakeholder solutions.
- Contaminated Sites Investigation and Remediation Design: design and oversee engineering solutions through closure.
- Knowledge Management: develop policies, best practices, internal knowledge sharing.
- Health, Safety, Quality and Environment: monitor KPIs, resolve non‑compliance.
- Technical Developments Recommendation: contribute to Phase I & II ESGAs,



recommend innovative technical developments.
- Professional Supervision: lead supervision, support professional development and reflective practice.
- Project Management: manage a portfolio of federally and provincially regulated projects, report to Business Group Leader.
- Client & Customer Management: maintain client relationships, engage industry networks, ensure enhanced client experience.

What you will bring to the team

- Bachelor and/or master’s degree in environmental science.
- Registered with a qualified designation in BC (e.g. P.Eng, P.Geo, P.Ag).
- 10 – 20 years of experience with contaminated assessments and remediation.
- Knowledge of provincial and federal legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Self‑motivated with strong time management and organizational ability.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Valid driver’s license.

Salary range

$102,000 – $167,000 based on experience.
