curriculum development in sport studies.Experience And Education RequirementsA relevant research‑based Masters degree with a focus on sport is preferable.Demonstrated knowledge development through continuous education and certification.Minimum of five years of management or leadership experience.Evidence of an existing network in the sport industry and an understanding of industry trends.Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team and develop talent across an organization.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with different individuals, groups, and audiences.Responsible decision‑maker with above-average interpersonal skills.Exceptional organization and time management skills with a proven commitment to quality assurance and accuracy.Active listener and consensus‑builder with an ability to manage and respond to multiple and varied stakeholders and audiences.Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.Previous experience with business administration and community outreach are all considered assets.Previous experience working in a post‑secondary setting is an asset.Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Statement At Saint Mary's University, equity and diversity are integral to excellence and enrich our community.
