Join a dedicated nursing team as a Pediatric Nurse providing 1:1 home-based care. This role focuses on supporting a baby with specialized needs, including NG tube management and respiratory monitoring.
We are seeking RNs and LPNs to deliver care for pediatric clients in Castlegar, BC. As a nurse, you will work independently in a stimulating environment, ensuring safety and documentation while caring for our most vulnerable clients. Ideal candidates will possess robust communication skills and a compassionate approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 respite care in a home setting
• Manage NG tube feeds and offer respiratory support
• Conduct assessments and monitor patient safety
• Maintain thorough documentation of care given
• Support client participation in family life and schooling
Requirements:
• Current registration with BCCNM in good standing
• Valid CPR ‘C’ / BLS certification required
• 2 years nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities
