In this position, you will take part in various legal processes, offering advice and limited representation to clients involved in family disputes. You will liaise with local stakeholders and contribute to the development of community-focused legal programs. Daily supervision of staff and public legal education efforts are also key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities: • Offer family law services in court settings • Negotiate case matters with legal representatives • Conduct legal research to support case strategies • Manage junior staff performance and development • Develop community legal educational materials
Requirements: • Law degree and membership eligibility in Law Society • 4-8 years of relevant family law practice • Supervisory experience preferred • Solid understanding of Indigenous community issues • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
