The Technology Operations Services – Business & Portfolio Management team seeks a highly skilled and motivated Senior IT Infrastructure Operations Program/Project Manager. The successful candidate will plan, execute, and finalize technology projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, coordinating resources, third‑party contractors, and internal teams to achieve project objectives and maintain quality control throughout the lifecycle.Define, execute, and sustain the integrated technology target state, target data model, and technology operations required to enable EDC’s 2030 business transformation.Establish and manage the rolling 3‑year Digital Roadmap that sequences technology outcomes to support the transformation across all domains.Keep pace with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring EDC remains relevant and grows Canadian global trade.Lead and ensure integrated digital, data, infrastructure, and cybersecurity implementations to create excellent customer, user,
and employee experiences.What You Will Be DoingIdentify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate managers and technical personnel during all phases.Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders clearly and timely.Develop schedules and methods for measuring results.Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path to allocate resources efficiently.Guide and perform strategic analysis for the project.Organize and manage all project phases to ensure on‑time completion.Ensure all projects are delivered on‑time, within scope, and within budget.Conduct project post‑mortems and create recommendation reports to identify successful and unsuccessful elements.Assemble and coordinate project team members, assigning individual responsibilities.Prepare requests for proposals and conduct necessary meetings to facilitate selection of services and products.Plan and oversee the preparation and dissemination of project communications.What We Are Looking ForUndergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 7 years experience in technology project management.Strong proficiency in resource planning, scheduling, requirements gathering, process improvements, Agile/Scrum, confident decision‑making, design and development, project management methodologies and tools, and project management software (e.G., Microsoft Project, ADO, ServiceNow).Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Excellent verbal and written communication, critical and strategic thinking, time management, priority planning,
and interpersonal skills.Strong stakeholder‑management communication skills.High initiative and ownership.Ability to adapt in a quick‑paced, evolving environment.Collaborative mindset with a problem‑solving attitude.What Will Make You Stand OutExperience with End‑User Computing provisioning and management platforms.Familiarity with Windows/Mac, iOS/iPadOS, Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Windows 365 Cloud PC.Knowledge of Telephony & Fax, VoIP, Teams Calling, Fax Gateway, Meeting Room & Collaboration technologies, Digital Employee Experience, and ITSM/ServiceNow processes.Understanding of Microsoft 365, including tenant management, M365 Apps for Business, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Power Platform, and Microsoft Copilot for M365.Bilingual in both English and French.EligibilityEDC is committed to Fair Employment Practices and prefers candidates who can work legally in Canada at the time of application (Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents).
