Our Owen Sound, ON branch is looking for a Contract Administrator to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the administration of sprinkler projects and service branch requirements on a national basis.
Responsibilities
- Complete pre‑qualifications/RFQs and assist with administrative tasks when required for sprinkler estimating division
- Assist with sales lead boards and support the sprinkler estimation team nationally
- Be a central point of contact for sales team support, including but not limited to estimation software support, price list maintenance, and reporting as needed
- Produce RFPs & pre‑qualification documents for field sales representatives
- Responsible for the maintenance of sprinkler customer compliance sites
- Manage code book orders, licensing, regional memberships, bid/tender website memberships, etc. as necessary for the sprinkler division
- Maintain executed contract tracking log
- Serve as back‑up for contract administration and branch office service support as required
- Assist the contract administration department with data entry in our ERP system
- Other administrative duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
- Post‑secondary education in business administration, project administration,
finance, or related work experience
- Previous experience using ERP systems; demonstrated proficiency and a proactive approach to technology
- Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and collaboratively with internal departments
- Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion and maintaining high standards of data integrity
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy of data entry, reporting, and documentation
- Excellent time‑management skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- 3+ years of administrative experience preferred
- Construction‑based operations knowledge would be an asset
- The preferred candidate must have excellent MS Office application capabilities and assist with standardizing, improving, and automating all Contract Administration functions
