Uphold community safety as a Municipal Enforcement Officer. Enforce by-laws, conduct investigations, and engage the public to enhance awareness and safety in your municipality.
This role works closely with the Sergeant and a dedicated team to maintain community standards. You will be responsible for law enforcement duties including representing the municipality in court, conducting inspections, and engaging with the community. With a proactive approach to enforcement strategies, your contributions will significantly impact community awareness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce municipal by-laws and territorial acts
• Conduct investigations, inspections, and interviews
• Engage with the public to enhance awareness
• Represent the municipality in court processes
• Lay information for enforcement actions
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• 1–3 years’ experience as an officer
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Transparent Criminal Record Check
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
