Lead HR services to enhance organizational performance as a Strategic HR Director. Develop human resource strategies and advise leaders on management approaches in a collaborative, bilingual environment.
This high-level role involves driving human resources initiatives aligned with strategic objectives. You will serve as a trusted advisor on HR management, labour relations, and compensation matters while fostering high-performing practices. Responsibilities include overseeing workforce planning, job classification, and advantages administration while ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with institutional goals
• Advise senior leadership on human resource management
• Oversee workforce planning and collective agreements
• Strengthen attraction, engagement, and retention initiatives
• Maintain strategic partnerships for effective service delivery
Requirements:
• Minimum ten years in HR with progressive responsibility
• Bachelor’s in HR, Industrial Relations, or similar
• Professional designation (CHRL) or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Ontario labour laws
• Experience in collective bargaining and stakeholder management
Contribute significantly to HR transformation, promoting employee experience and organizational excellence in a diverse academic setting.
