Controls Engineer / SQL Developer

for a full-time permanent opportunity based in

Windsor, ON . This is an exciting prospect for a technically strong and adaptable professional who enjoys working across both

controls engineering

and

software/database systems

in a client-focused setting.

This role is ideal for someone who brings a strong combination of

PLC/controls experience

and

significant SQL expertise , particularly working with

large datasets, database creation, troubleshooting, and software support . The position is more heavily focused on the

SQL/software side , but the controls background is still an significant part of the role.

Key Responsibilities

Work with large datasets, including SQL database creation, troubleshooting, and support





Support software-related tasks tied to automation and industrial controls systems

Assist with controls engineering responsibilities including PLC-related work as needed

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across both software and controls environments

Support onsite operations in Windsor when not traveling to client locations

Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams

Balance multiple priorities across controls and software responsibilities

Qualifications

Strong experience in

SQL , including working with large datasets, creating databases, and troubleshooting issues

Experience with

PLC/controls systems

Ability to work across both the

software/database

and

controls

side of operations

Strong communication skills with a professional and client-facing approach

Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic work environment

Open to travel as needed

Must be eligible to qualify for a

TN visa
