Industrial Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

- Monitor defined industrial quality performance indicators against objectives and take appropriate action.
- Lead programs to prevent customer issues arising from the manufacturing process.
- Lead improvement programs to achieve and control targets for the cost of quality and non‑quality.
- Ensure adequate standards are defined and met.
- Implement standardized processes for industrial quality.
- Promote the “Right First Time” and “Zero Defect” approaches.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related technical field, with 10 years of experience in quality management within the electronics, assembly or manufacturing industries.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification or DfSS/DMAIC Green/Black Belt in Lean Manufacturing is an asset, along with working knowledge of key quality tools such as PPAP, 8D, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.
- Working knowledge of global consumer product regulations and requirements, and ISO9001 or comparable standards.
- Expertise in industrial quality excellence and thorough understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.




- Ability to influence the organization and build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable collaborating with operational colleagues, empowered to communicate effectively, driven for operational excellence, and capable of challenging the company to drive change.
- Model quality values and has a proven process approach, with fluency in French and English, both oral and written.

Salary

$86,700 – $127,160 per year.
