We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join a dynamic team supporting enterprise-level initiatives within an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will possess robust analytical, technical, and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business needs and technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage proactively with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements through effective communication and critical thinking.
- Translate requirements into detailed user stories aligned with Agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.
- Utilize technical expertise to query Oracle databases, and execute/test APIs using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Leverage tools like Jira, Confluence, Mural, and Figma to support project planning and execution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing processes, backlog quality, and delivery outcomes.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Senior Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst.
- Proven experience working on Agile projects within the banking or financial services domain.
- Strong experience managing projects involving integrated systems across multiple business lines.
- Proficiency in SQL (Oracle) for database querying.
- Hands-on experience with Python or R for data analysis and dashboard creation.
- Working knowledge of Java and Python.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and user story development.
- Experience working with APIs and related tools (Postman, Swagger).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the financial sector, particularly in wealth management, portfolio management, or client reporting.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and facilitate collaboration across teams.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and code logic.
